![]() ![]() ![]() Graphics aren't great, they're actually sub par and, since the game is over ten years old, they're pretty dated. ![]() There are two campaigns, one covering the old Empire versus Rebel and the other covering the factions from the Clone Wars timeline. ![]() The single player content isn't what Star Wars is all about, but it does exist. Its a great mechanic and adds some great tactical value. These points also act as respawn points for slain foes, so capturing these points also pushes the enemy back and brings resurrected allies back closer to the fight. Strategic points scattered throughout the map must be captured by the two teams to win the game. Again, the AI isn't great, but the more soldiers on the field means a more authentic feel to the match. If you don't get 32 real people, the host can choose to pad the roster with bots. having up to 50 players over a LAN, 32 over traditional internet connection, there's lots going on. The graphics aren't great, and the AI will have you easily wading through the single player content, but it's the multi player game play that people will ultimately buy this game for. Multi player support is obviously what Star Wars Battlefront is all about. The saving grace of Star Wars Battlefront is the multi player support. Instead of providing a diverse and complimentary game experience to the rich lore of the Star Wars cannon, the game opts for linear missions made easy by AI that all but shoots itself in the head for you. There are two sides to choose from in each of the two campaigns, each handling a different Star Wars story, but in the end it doesn't make much of a difference. Produced by Lucas Arts in 2004, Star Wars Battlefront gives players the chance to run around and shoot things in the Star Wars universe.
